Project: membership management website and database – research, consulting, data migration, design
The Problem: Our client–a regional professional membership organization–was using a highly customized, open source solution for their member management website that was costing them well beyond their budget to maintain. Sustaining that website would have run their organization into the ground. Instead, they sought a modular solution that would better fit their business strategy and allow them to expand to other regions.
Our solution: We consulted to assess the organization and membership’s top needs, researched several competing solutions, and found them an affordable, hosted, features-rich, user-friendly Software As A Solution (SAAS) service to take care of most of their infrastructure for a fraction of the budget.
We set up and configured their new system, migrated their member profiles and account information, redesigned the interface to maintain consistent web branding, while streamlining the user experience and simplifying web content.
To keep both staff and membership well informed and supported through the transition, we developed training materials and an email schedule keeping different levels of members informed every step of the way.
